Our longterm customer UP Olomouc, who got two outdoor return boxes from us last year, was so pleased with them that he decided to purchase two more boxes for the locations of two other faculties. The installation happened on 9. December 2014.

In late November, after succeeding in a tender, our company equipped the newly built library of the School of Philosophy of UJEP in Ústí nad Labem with RFID technology. Delivery consisted of three detection RFID gates, workstations and supplies of RFID labels.

Just like last year, our company was asked by the City Library of Hodonín to run creative workshop on Day for children’s book. My colleague, headed by Janka Šubová, constructed their own ex libris. As always, the activity was appraised by children’s smiles.

Series of libraries, or readers using a book return box has grown by additional users. As a result of our success in the tender in late October, we installed an outdoor book return box at the Bratislava City Library.

We are pleased that the Research Library in Czech Budejovice was announced as the Library of the Year in the category of “significant achievement in the provision of public library and information services” for the implementation of the borrowing e-books service. We were very much involved with the execution of the service of borrowing e-books to readers directly from IPAC and thereafter we implemented the functionality in other aRL libraries.
